The Juneteenth RI Committee is proud to announce our Harold Metts Scholarship Program. Harold Metts has been a champion for education for years and it’s our honor to name our scholarship program in his name. Apply below!
GUIDELINES:
– Submission Deadline: Sunday, August 22, 2021 – 11:59pm
– Award Notification: Monday, September 6, 2021 (via email or phone)
– Award Amount: $1,000
– Scholarship Recipients: 10
QUALIFICATIONS:
– African American
– Between ages 17-24
– Rhode Island Resident
– Attending College/University in the fall 2021 or already in a 4-5 year college/university.
